Difficulties in hiring IT professionals

As in any other industry, recruiting has a number of its difficulties, which have to be solved as they become available. One of the most common among them is the need for certain basic technical knowledge of recruiters who conduct interviews with applicants. The usual resume or questionnaire in such cases is often not enough, therefore, a full-time specialist of the appropriate profile is often involved in the interview, which will help determine the level of knowledge of the candidate.

In this case, the search for it specialists is much more efficient and faster, because it allows you to literally immediately assess the level of professionalism and draw the appropriate conclusions. At the same time, the question immediately arises as to what level of specialist should be involved in an interview. There are several options for solving the problem:

IT director. This is the specialist who can literally immediately determine the level of knowledge of the applicant, his qualifications and at the same time understand whether he is suitable for the company by professional and personal characteristics. In most cases, it is in this way that it is easiest to find a machine learning developer of the appropriate level.
Staffing “personnel officer.” In this case, the task is somewhat more complicated, since he is able to only approximately determine the level of qualification. Often this is enough to transfer the list of potential candidates who were deliberately selected to the IT department, where specialized specialists will deal with a more detailed study of the candidates.

In this case, there is only one problem – during the trial period, the chances are high that the applicant will not work and he will have to look for a replacement.
Recruitment agency. This organization is ready to present a list of pre-selected candidates who are already properly motivated and tested by the agency for the degree of adequacy and level of professional knowledge and skills. Due to the specifics of the IT industry, it’s pointless to look for senior php developer here, since such organizations usually cover all areas of activity and cannot scrupulously study a specialist with a narrow focus.
